Archibald, 45 A.D.2d 532, 360 N.Y.S2d 119 (1974).

Explain why and how an agency relationship is established between an agent and athlete. What functions can an agent perform on behalf of the athlete and why? What duties do the agents have to the principals during the agency relationship? What are the steps an agent or agency can do to avoid tort issues as they represent their clients?
