In Chapter 20 from pages 318-319 of your textbook, we discussed Communication Strategies that need to be considered when implementing changes in organizations.How you communicate and what you communicate will impact people's beliefs, level of trust, and willingness to support the change.

Think about a recent attempt to introduce and manage a changing work, in your school, at home, or elsewhere and reflect on how the quality of communication help or hinder the change process. Did those leading the change communication to communicate effectively to all those involved in or affected by the change? Why or why not? Of the 5 communication strategies, which one (s) did they used, please explain (see pages 318-319).

Question 2 (10 points)

In Week 10 we discussed resistance to change. This is a real challenge for organizations. There are a number of factors that affect readiness for change within an organization, which can have an impact on the level of resistance.These are noted on Chapter 21 Pg 326-329 in your textbook.

Think of a time when you were involved in a change, a time maybe you were unwilling to support the proposed change. Drawing on one of the reasons why this happened, relate to one of the factors noted in the textbook and explain. Then think about how you would have been motivated to support the change, and explain how, using one or more of the ways noted on Chapter 21 Pg 329-333.

Please ensure you are clear, concise and have a beginning, middle and end, and cover all aspects of the question bringing in the concepts from the pages noted above from the textbook, 6th Edition.

Question 3 (10 points)

Many change projects fail and do so for many reasons. But, there are a number of change strategies that leaders can adopt.In the textbook Chapter 10 on Pg 145, figure 10.1 there is a model that can be used for approaching change to minimize risk and increase success. Reflecting on this model and the different dimensions, use an example, one you are familiar with, and explain how this model could be used to manage risk related to how you would implement the change. Give some examples to support each of the dimensions.
