Problem 1 : EAM ( Enterprise Asset Management ) : EAM ( Enterprise Asset Management ) Software systems is an enterprise software which manages enterprise

Problem 1:
EAM (Enterprise Asset Management):
EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) Software systems is an enterprise software which manages enterprise assets such as machinery, equipment, and infrastructure. Their main task is to optimize the use of resources, increase their lifespan and minimize the costs associated with their maintenance.
EAM systems enable tracking the life cycle of individual assets from the moment they are acquired, through their use and maintenance, until they are decommissioned. This makes it possible to schedule and perform regular inspections and maintenance to avoid failures, thereby minimizing costs associated with repairs and downtime. This software type is most beneficial to companies from asset-intensive industries such as manufacturing, construction, energy, and utilities. The primary users of EAM software are maintenance teams who leverage the software to identify issues and perform inspections or repairs. In addition, the Software would be used to migrate, reposition or re deploy the assets across multiple project sites.
EAM systems also offer functionality related to monitoring the performance and availability of individual assets and generating reports and analyses on their consumption, failure rate, or costs. This allows companies to make informed decisions on investing in new investments, choosing the best maintenance methods, or planning their replacement.
EAM systems are used in many industries, such as heavy industry, energy, transportation, public services, and construction. By using this type of enterprise software, companies can increase the efficiency of operations, minimize the costs associated with asset maintenance and improve the quality of services offered.
Assume you are the Chief IT Consultant to a large infrastructure development company that handles large scale construction and infrastructure projects at multiple locations. Your company deploys various equipment and machinery at several site locations as well as regional bases. These assets are repositioned from time to time as per need, some on a daily basis and some on a weekly / monthly basis. Your company now plans to implement a Cloud based EAM Software to have a complete control of the enterprise wide assets with the objective to meet the overall requirements of the Resource Planning & Maintenance Departments.
Search the web and identify at least 3 Cloud based Enterprise Asset Management Software / Solutions that meet the requirements of the company. (Please note that the requirements are specific for Construction / Infrastructure project management and not for the IT asset management). Study the features of each of the software products. Tabulate your
observations of your study in a feature comparative chart and evaluate your final recommendation of the software product.
Ensure you have selected at least 10 core features/parameters for comparison. Indicate any unique features of the product that may be of interest to the organizations activity. For each of the feature mentioned, assign a score out of 10(0= lowest, 10= highest) based on your evaluation of the features significance, implementation and the value add. Core features that implement basic functions which are common across all products (these are called baseline features) will get an average score (say 4), unless they also offer some enhanced advantage. Exclusive features that are unique (called USPs) of the product which are also aligned with your companys requirements will get an elevated score. You can mention these exclusive features as items a1 a3 as shown in table below. Wherever needed you can include screen grabs of specific product details obtained from the internet to substantiate your claim.
Summarise your recommendation with a quick analysis at the end.
