Problem 1 You have received $10,000 from your favorite aunt. You have to decided to invest in 2 of six stocks you have researched and narrowed down to 6. Use the indicators such as P/E or Yield, other information found in the text, or those you have reviewed by watching the news, reading news papers and business periodicals to pick your two stocks.

The group of 6 stocks you selected as your favorite six are 1. Verizon (VZ) Communications, 2. Disney, (DIS). 3. Xylem Inc. (XYL), 4. Walmart (WMT), 5. The Boeing Company, 6. EPD, Enterprise Products Partners. What two stocks have you selected and why. Be specific. I want stock prices, P/E numbers or other indicator numbers such as yield, and why you like the stock that you have chosen. Give me five reasons you selected your 2 stocks and how you divided your $10,000. Specifics!!!!

When I review your answers I will give you the values of all 6 of the stocks 6 months ago, Think of what happened six months prior to that date, and then durning the last six months. When you select your cast you will be forecasting what will happen to your $10,000. Think of short term gains and long term gains. Think of future tax ramifications. Think of inflation, think of the importance of that $10,000 in your future.
