Each layer takes microseconds for any data integrity activity, eg insertion of error detection code,
detection of error, creating or processing ACKNAK etc.
Only one NAK is sent by the receiver HARQ or ARQ in case of error resulting on one retransmission of
the packet by the sender if required. No further NAKs are sent.
Neglect the time associated with nonerror handling activities, eg routing headers etc.
Neglect the error associated with transmission of small ACKNAK packets
For the Transparent ARQ mode, associated channels do not involve use of HARQ.
