Problem 4. A study was conducted on the efficacy of Dupilumab to increase arterial blood oxygen levels in patients diagnosed with chronic asthma. The data were collected on the group (Dupilumab/Control), gender (Male/Female), age at baseline (in years), and oxygen level (in millimeters of mercury, mm Hg) at baseline, and 1, 2, and 4 weeks. Use the code and output to answer the following questions. (a) Give the name of the model that was fitted to these data. Write down the fitted model. Specify all estimated parameters. Is this model appropriate? Give a quantitative explanation. Hint: What is the distribution of the response variable? (b) What predictors are significant at the 5% level? Give an interpretation of the estimated significant regression coefficients. Can it be concluded that Dupilumab is efficient in increasing arterial blood oxygen levels? (c) Predict the oxygen level at 3 weeks for a 50-year old male patient taking Dupilumab. Calculate the value by hand and compare it to the one computed in SAS.
