Problem 4: Ethanol is commonly produced at industrial scale. Produced ethanol usually present with water and a separator is required to separate 85% of ethanol produced. The separator has two output streams leaving the unit; ethanol stream and residual water stream. Before being separated, portion of feed mixture is bypassed ( withdrawn) and mixed with residual water stream that leave the separator. The feed stream is composed of 80% water and rest of ethanol, by weight and flows at a rate of 200 kg/hr. Knowing that 30% of feed mixture is bypassed and the separator removed 60% of ethanol of its feed. Draw process flowchart
