Bank balance Rs. 11.800. 2 Cash sales Rs. 3,800. 943 Deposited into the bank Rs. 4,000. 4 Issued a cheque to A Rs. 2,920 in full settlement of Rs. 3,000. 5 Purchased from B for Rs. 1,500 for which issued a cheque. 6 Sold goods to C for Rs. 2,000 for which received cash Rs. 700, a cheque for Rs. 900 and for the remaining drew a bill for Rs. 400. Cheque sent to Bank. 7 Paid D by cheque Rs. 500. 9 Received a cheque from E Rs. 1,100 in full settlement of Rs. 1,200. 10 Drew from the bank for office use Rs. 200. 12 The cheque of E was deposited into bank. 13 Paid F by cheque Rs. 475; discount allowed Rs. 25. 14 The bill of C was discounted at the bank for a discount of Rs. 35 and cash deposited into bank. 17 Paid sundry expenses Rs. 20. 18 E's cheque was returned by the bank dishonoured and the discount disallowed. 19 Cash sales paid into the bank Rs. 740. 23 Purchased stationery Rs. 100. 25 Withdrew from the bank for personal use Rs. 600. 27 Received from G a cheque Rs. 460; discount allowed Rs. 40. 28 Bought goods for cash Rs. 800. 29 Drew from bank for office use Rs. 500. 30 Paid rent Rs. 250. 31 Paid into Bank Rs. 5,000
