Problem C. Associate the following statements with internal or external fragmentation by filling the blanks. It results in memory regions, which are outside allocated regions but are too small to satisfy a memory request. The unused space is unavailable for use by the system until the job is finished and the page or region is released. While contiguous memory allocation suffers from it, it does not exist when paging is used for memory allocation It is memory space within a region or a page that is not used by the job occupying that region or page. It is unused space between allocated regions of memory. It may be solved by compaction, i.e, shuffling memory contents to place all free memory in one large block. Both contiguous memory allocation and paging suffer from this
