Estimate the Kiaw values at 25C of (a) n-hexane, (b) benzene, (c) di-n-propyl ether, and (d) phenol using the bond contribution values given in Table 9.4. Compare these values with the experimental airwater partition constants given in Table 9.3. Remember that for a linear or branched alkane (i.e., hexane) a correction factor of +0.75 log units has to be added (footnote b in Table 9.4).
