Please prepare journal entries to accrue vacation at the end of 2019 and for vacations taken in 2020. Date: Debit Credit Part 2: (8 points) In 2020, to stimulate the sales of its Alladin breakfast cereal, Leptien Company places 1 coupon in each box. Three coupons are redeemable for a premium consisting of a children's hand puppet. In 2020, the company purchases 60,000 puppets at $3.75 each and sells 360,000 boxes of Alladin at $5.60 a box. From its experience with other premium offers, the company estimates that 30% of the coupons issued will be mailed back for redemption.
