Problem Statement:
From your place of work, identify a specific working scenario you are familiar with, gather relevant data. Using this data, develop an interactive dashboard that is suitable for use by the Manager. Clearly describe the scenario, identify the data sources, describe the data, prepare the data model, select the KPIs, define the type of charts/visualizations/plot/graph/reports, and mention the analysis you plan to implement. The dashboard should showcase 4-6 KPIs along with 6-8 charts on suitable measures chosen from your data for analysis relevant to the chosen scenario. Prepare a formatted Dashboard in Microsoft PowerBi / Tableau (If you wish, you can use any other similar Visualization Software excepting MS Excel). Take screen grabs of your data, the entire dashboard pages together with the corresponding visualizations to demonstrate the implementation. Use them in your report along with the detailed description of the approach, the scenario, the data model used and the details of visualizations.
Deliverables in the submission:
a. Description of the use case / scenario and the overall goal of the dashboard.
b. Snapshot of the data. This would be around 15-20 records of data, together with a brief explanation of the features (columns or attributes) considered. If you have your data obtained from multiple tables, clearly show the complete data model.
c. Brief description of each visualizations together with the data sources connected to the viz.
d. Description of each KPI defined in your dashboard
e. Screen grabs of Dashboard showing all the components of the dashboard. Screen grabs can also showcase any interactive behaviour of the reports.
f. Comprehensive analysis together with insights observed.
g. Your observed deductions, lessons learnt and recommendations.

Note: Using sample/example data or sample visualizations from the internet will not be treated as valid submission. You are expected to use data from your place of work. This way, you would be in a good position to explain and understand you data and appreciate the outcomes from the dashboard created. Kindly use the data pertaining to your domain of work. (People working in Quality Control / Testing should not be using sales data, or HR department data). Reasons like Our organization data is confidential and hence I cannot use it for exercise, is not appreciated. Due to security reasons, if your organizational data is not available, or if it is not possible to access live data due to other privacy issues, you are expected to create a sample simulated data with confidential portions removed. Alternately, you can generate random / fictitious data with similar structure resembling the real life situation (This is called mock data). Kindly note that small data sets (a few hundred records) may not give good insights and hence it is recommended to use at the least 1000 records or more.
