Problem Statement: Incompleteness and inadequacy of loT in its design as well as in its Implementation in the context of Smart Farms. loT is not full-edged and well-equipped with necessary infrastructure along with contingent mechanisms, also it has some overlooked areas which needs to be addressed before it being adopted by farmers for their Smart Farms. The term loT, when applied in the context of Smart Farming, refers to using physical devices connected to the internet which are used for farming. These devices mayr be wireless sensors, transducers, probes which collect and transmit various data, which in turn is used to analyze, assess and predict various metrics of agriculture. IoT in smart farming can solve challenges through the electronic monitoring of crops, as well as related environmental, soil, fertilisation, and irrigation conditions, Such monitoring data can be then be analysed to identify which crops and specic crop varieties can best meet the productivity targets of any particular farm around the world. Although IoT for smart farming sounds very appealing, there are major concerns in its implementations which must be dealt with in order to aoDrooriatelv leverage its power
