Problem Statement: Investigate at the preparation of catalytic materials for water purification as well as NO removal approaches. Preparation of highly active photo-Fenton catalytic materials

Problem Statement:

Investigate at the preparation of catalytic materials for water purification as well as NO removal approaches. Preparation of highly active photo-Fenton catalytic materials based on iron oxide nanoparticles supported on activated carbon for the destruction of organic pollutants in industrial water for water purification. Using K/Cu-Mn-O as a catalyst, the feasibility of removing NO in indoor air to generate nitrites or nitrates was explored. The Cu-Mn-O catalyst was produced in aqueous solution by co-precipitation with a pH regulator and then modified by sequential impregnation with potassium-precursor promoters. The NO conversion was carried out in order to optimize the conditions for catalyst synthesis. The results demonstrated that the K/Cu-Mn-O catalyst could successfully remove NO in oxygen-rich conditions at a low temperature.

Question : After reading above problem statement write about following:

1. Contribution in environmental protection

2. Three applications of the proposed study/catalysis technique
