Project 1 PROJECT: HEADQUARTERS MOVE TO ANOTHER CITY Project Introduction: The project will help understand the importance of project management. A company's headquarter is moving to another city. In this project, you need to determine the scope of the move, build a team, create a communication plan, analyze and document risks, create a simple project schedule, make assumptions on cost and budget, and provide a path of resolution on any issues that appear. You will use the project management tools and techniques that you learn throughout this course to aid the organization in successfully moving. In the first part, you will develop the scope, project team, communication plan, and risk management plan for moving the company's headquarter. In the second part, you will create a detailed plan in Microsoft Project outlining the steps to complete the move of the headquarters. Consider the requirements that will need to be met within the project plan (dependency, having something with a lag time, and so on). Also, create a risk mitigation plan in this project.
