Project #8: Map and List

Introduction:

In this project, you are going to utilize the rich facilities that Java has offered us. You are going to process the same input files that you used for the last project, p7arts.txt and p7artists.txt, to produce the same output (named p8out(yourName).txt which should be the same as p7out(yourName).txt. In this project, you do not need to implement the sorting and searching algorithms. The sample output follows:

Assignments:

Use one concrete implementation of the List interface from Java Collections so that you may use Collections.sort(List);

Use one concrete implementation of Map interface for the list of artists. Let artistID be the key, and the artistName is the value.

Before you process p7arts.txt, you read the p7artists.txt into Map and, when you process an instance of Art, you will obtain the name of the artist by providing artistID to the Map.
