Project BUILD is under review by Mayor Lewis just 3 months after launch as there has been entire presentations at question time in City Council about over-budgeting in the Roads & Highways Department. Some councilors who previously supported this project are now joining the ranks of those opposing the continuation of the project.

BUILD was planned to be completed in 12 months. The project scope was the asphalt paving of 40 km of Roadway across difficult mountainous terrain. So far, the finance department has reported that $750,000 has been sunk into the project already and the project engineers report that 15 kms of highway has been completed.
