Project: Child Labor and Globalization 50 points While economic globalization has brought industrial, social, and infrastructure improvements across the globe, much of the world still dwells in poverty. Poverty plagues every major society. Although the percentages of people living in poverty may differ from country to country, millions in every part of the globe suffer in poor living conditions, live in squalor and fight hunger and disease. Due to this extreme poverty, many children around the world work long hours in horrible working conditions to help provide for their families.
