Deciding which components to implement and how to implement them can be a challenge. New MIS components are released daily, and business needs continually change. An MIS infrastructure that meets your companys needs today may not meet those needs tomorrow. Building an MIS infrastructure that is accessible, available, flexible, reliable, scalable, usable, and performs well is key to your companys growth, operations, and profitability. Project Focus You are the manager for a large durable good manufacturer company called Xedous. You are responsible for developing the initial MIS infrastructure. Describe the components of an MIS Infrastructure and a Sustainable Infrastructure. Be sure to describe the benefits of each component and how to support them. Create a list of questions you will need answered to develop it. Here are examples of a few of the questions you might ask: What are the companys growth expectations? Will systems be able to handle additional users? How long will information be stored in the systems? How much customer history must be stored? What are the companys business hours?
