1. Briefly describe your project

Our project name is "Getting it Together with Batches". We are a group of 12 to 25 year olds female who are against violence and support each otherthis project aims to get together young girls to create awareness about abuse, domestic violence through batches. The program provides services and support for young people to resume self-sufficient living, free of dependence and give a safe space for young people to meet and support each other, as well as running workshops and educational programmes on violence prevention.

1. Please provide a detailed outline of your project and how the funding will help your local community

• This project is designed to encourage the young females to work together. Also, it will help the local community by providing a safe space for young people to meet and support each other.
• Not only this, it aims to run a workshops and educational programmes on prevention of violence and abuse. Thus, the funding will help us to pay for the cost of the project, such as renting a space, buying material, and to run a workshop.
• The space will be organised where people can join and have discussion about the experience related to different issues and measures to prevent it in future.
• It will help the local community to work together and assist youth to socialise. It can also enhance the creativity of the participants.
• It is good for the individual, because individuals who meaningfully participate will be healthier, happier.
• Supports the community's physical and mental wellbeing, by enabling healthy and active lifestyle.
• Increases opportunities for young to participate in activities
• Develops community bonds, encourages social engagement and participation in public programs.
• It will assist to spread message say no to domestic violence through making and wearing a batch.
• It will assist to accept different cultures and importance of gender equality.
• It supports and create awareness about the importance of mental health.
• It will give the message 'equal pay for equal work' no discrimination based on gender or culture.
• It would help to mitigate the impact of various kinds of abuse on women and girls increases with experiences, and can affect their safety and wellbeing in different ways.
