Project Recovery Scenarios Instructions: Even the best project managers can't keep every project on track so it is important to know how to recover your projects. Using your analytical skills and what you have learned in this week's lectures, describe in detail how you would recover these projects scenarios.

1) You are asked to take over a project that another PM was managing. The previous PM had a family emergency and had to leave quickly so you don't have the ability to ask them questions or even have them assist in onboarding you onto the project. Last week, the project was reported as red on the weekly status reports because the project is two weeks behind schedule and the customer is expecting the project deliverables in the next 4 weeks. What steps would you take to understand where the project is at? What techniques would you use to recover the project and get it back on track?

2) You are managing a project that is going well until the stakeholder decides that they need multiple scope additions in order to accommodate a regulatory change. The project must accept the scope changes in order for the project to be successful.
