Project: Semester 2 [2022] The project for Semester 2 consists of section A, B and C. Section A requires students to demonstrate their understanding of Python including Tkinter. PyCharm Community application must be used to demonstrate understanding of Python on MS TEAMS. Section B requires students to demonstrate their understanding of Microsoft Excel functions on MS TEAMS. Section C must be presented using Microsoft PowerPoint on MS TEAMS. The project is aimed at ensuring students have the knowledge of excel functions, understanding of python and knowledge of current technologies. Students are required to work in teams in preparing the projects. All students in a team must have good knowledge of Section A, B and C. Due date: 30 September 2022 Section A [40] Use Python and PyCharm Community applications to demonstrate your understanding of the below items. Understanding must be demonstrated by creating codes that: Assist in calculating inventory for an entity that is registered as VAT Vendor and the entity not registered as VAT Vendor. That assist an entity in deciding whether to use IFRS or the IFRS for SMEs. Demonstrate clear understanding of the following: 1. Difference between variables and values; 2. Loops: for loops and while loops; 3. Functions including if functions 4. Difference between strings, integers, floats, and Booleans Create a simple Tkinter form. Section B [25] Use your own data to demonstrate clear understanding of the following Excel functions: IF functions (SUMIF, COUNTIF, TRIM, AVERAGEIF, IFERROR) VLOOKUP CONCATENATE PVOT Table LEN COUNTA LEFT/RIGHT Mathematical operations (+-/*) Section C [25] Create a PowerPoint presentation to present the following: This is going to be presented using MS TEAMS. Attach similarity report and ensure no more than 20% similarity percentage. How can Python and Microsoft excel assist in data analytics [no more than 4 slides]; Your understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things [no more than 6 slides]; and Other interesting information on latest technologies and their impact on businesses [no more than five slides]
