There are a lot of strong opinions on both sides as to whether or not such requirements should be made of students and employees before they return to campus given the Omicron variant seemingly being more contagious, but also possibly less fierce in severity of individual impact than other variants.

QUESTIONS:

1. In the readings this week we studied Credos. What kind of credo do you think supports the LAUSD's decision to makes such proof negative COVID-19 test required before returning to campus?

2. From an economics standpoint, do you think the decision by LAUSD is a good business decision? Explain why you feel it is a good business decision or is not a good business decision.

3. In the readings we studied Philosophical Groundings. i) Explain which of the Philosophical Groundings you most identify with, and ii) how and why they would come down on the same issue on whether or not to require all students and employees to have show proof of negative COVID-19 test before returning to campus.
