Prompt Pilgrimage is a shared aspect of the religions covered in this module and in the module for Week 5. People make pilgrimages to Buddhist and Shinto shrines, Mecca, and churches like Chartres Cathedral. Sacred places aren't the only destinations to which some people make a pilgrimage.
