  1. Provide a conclusion that summarizes the midterm paper and the implementation outlined for this paper The conclusion should briefly recap the organization and problem, restate the benefit of the proposed change, then highlight the quantifiable aspect of the benefit (Money saved, employees reduced, etc.) This benefit should be in terms of not only production/service metrics, but also extrapolated into a revenue/profit increase. As an example, if your solution reduced supply receiving time by "X" percent, that percentage would be deducted from the total man hours needed in a shift/day. Those man hours multiplied by the prevailing rate for that labor would give you an hourly savings, which would then be multiplied by however many units of the selected time measurement occur in a year. Last, the conclusion should reiterate why the selected solution and implementation methodology is beneficial to the organization and its stakeholders. according

Al Basher Hospital

It is the oldest and largest governmental hospital in Jordan. It was established in 1954 on an area of 153 acres. It is located in the Jordanian capital, Amman, in the Jabal Al-Ashrafiya region. It contains 1925 beds. It consists of a surgical hospital, a women's hospital, obstetrics and children's hospital, an internal hospital, radiology and dermatology hospital , Ambulance and emergency hospital, specialized surgery hospital, emergency center for cardiac treatments and oncology center.

Al-Bashir hospitals receive more than 12,000 patients per day, dispense more than 9,000 prescriptions daily, and perform more than 100 programmed operations per day.

Al-Bashir Hospital dispenses more than 9,000 prescriptions per day by twenty-five pharmacies. Medicines are supplied to pharmacies by the drugstore, and this puts enormous pressure on the drugstore.

In the drugstore, there is a system called the HakeemHealth system, whose function is to receive pharmacies orders until they are processed. There are several negative points in this system.

The drug store in al basher hospital is the one parts of supply chain of medicals in Jordan ministry of health .

The HakeemHealth System

The program aims to facilitate efficient, high-quality healthcare in the Kingdom through the nationwide implementation of an Electronic Health Record solution (EHR). In effect, physicians, pharmacists, medical technologists and other clinicians are able to electronically access medical records of patients within participating health facilities in Jordan simply by entering the patient's national ID number.

The types of electronic medical information clinicians may access include, but are not limited to, the following: Comprehensive medical and surgical history, physical examinations, procedural and surgical reports, current medications, allergies as well as in-patient and out-patient clinic visit notes. In addition, it will provide online access to lab results, digital radiological exams, electrocardiograms (ECGs), endoscopic biopsies, eye exams, and videos of echocardiograms and angiograms.("About Hakeem Program | Electronic Health Solutions")

The HakeemHealth System which is use in drug store of Al Basher hospital only used to receiving requests from the hospital pharmacies, which number twenty -five pharmacies, and vouchers are issued to receive medicals them.

The HakeemHealth System currently does not provide the solutions required in the work, such as error detection, stagnant material indication, and the ability to analyze information from the consumption rate ... and this increases time and effort.

The work of the warehouse requires accuracy, speed, and follow-up to ensure the continuation of work in this high pressure, because every second is important in the life of the patient.

Currently, the supply chain drug store is inefficient and slow, resulting longer delivery times to pharmacies.

I rolling out a revised system that makes use of various kinds of automation and contemporary technology.

I proposal to combine a Hakeem system and ERP system in drug store .

Enterprise resource planning (ERP) is a type of software system that helps organizations automate and manage core business processes for optimal performance. ERP software coordinates the flow of data between a company's business processes, providing a single source of truth and streamlining operations across the enterprise. It's capable of linking a company's financials, supply chain, operations, commerce, reporting, manufacturing, and human resources activities on oneplatform.(Corporation).

This involves offering training on how to use the new technologies and conducting frequent testing to ensure that the system is running effectively. Additionally, this includes providing training on how to use the new technologies. This includes providing pharmacies service around the clock as well as making it possible to follow the status of their orders in real time.

Inventory management and Batch Tracking: Monitoring the inventory becomes simpler with an ERP system. The batch tracking of medical supplies in the hospital or the pharmacy can be easier with a one-stop database. ERP can reliably send expiry alerts for the management to take action and place orders at the right time. Stock in/ out will be simpler to evaluate with a central system in place.("ERP For Hospitals - a Complete Guide").

The approach recommended is to adopt new technologies to improve drug store management. In order to accomplish this, we will be use ERP system and implement the use of barcode reader. Improved communication and coordination among parties involved will result from the use of these technologies for inventory and send drugs to pharmacies .

Managing warehouses and assessment of dealings in multiple currencies becomes a lot easier with the use of the inventory management module of ERP.

The warehouse space can be optimally utilized, thereby reducing operational costs.

Tracking medical supplies stock and providing insights into the inventory reorder levels, batch tracking, batch expiry, stock in, and stock out information is simple to analyze with effective inventory management.

The system facilitates automated reordering, which prevents the organization from running out of fast-moving supplies. Automation can be set for this kind of stock and thus, hospitals can have a timely delivery of the items that are frequently required.Storage and warehousing issues can be resolved in a short span easily.("ERP For Hospitals - a Complete Guide")

Improved reporting:ERPs enable custom reports and, therefore, accurate and usable data, without being time consuming.

More accurate counts: ERP systems track and report excess inventory, shortages, planned replenishment, obsolete inventory and metrics, such as average turnover rate and COGS. In the warehouse, the system tracks and reports on product transfers through shipping and receiving.

End-to-end inventory analysis: ERPs provide analytics for each stage of inventory flow, such as cost of goods sold, turnover rates and shrinkage. By analyzing key inventory metrics, companies can improve inventory efficiency.

Inventory planning : which easily eases planning .(Schwarz ).

The conclusion:

When applying the merger between a Hakeem system and a ERP system we get several benefits, including the increase speed of performance and follow-up to ensure the continuation, the time of distribution of drugs to all pharmacies become less especially if the remedy reader is used to prepare orders from five days to one day.

With ERP system the distribution of drugs to all pharmacies need only 1 day.

While without system the distribution of drugs to all pharmacies need 5 days.

Here we Improved service

The work without the system, only ten orders are completed daily but with ERPsystem twenty -five requests are done, and this ensures availability the medicines for all pharmacies without interruption, therefore a better service for patients and auditors.

Enhanced reports

As a result of reduced paperwork and improved communication among departments, ERP software offers the convenient environment for quick and easy submitting all kinds of reports: from financial to inventory, from customer behavior to technical maintenance, etc.

It mean New Product s, Service s, and Business Models

Information systems and technologies are a major enabling tool for firms to create new products and services, as well as entirely new business models ( Laudon, Landon.2014).

Improved coordination

The unified system that contains all business-related data improves cooperation between different departments in hospital . ERP software reduces the communication delays across the whole hospital , enhancing its efficiency.

Higher management performance

ERP solutions serve as a data center that establishes links between all aspects of hospital activities that require management, including inventory, and supply. With the help of computer technologies, ERP software enables automatic data handling in the fastest and most effective way. ("What Is Healthcare ERP? | Pure Storage").

It mean Improved Decision Making

Her we have the right information at the right time to make an informed decision.and manager use real-time data when making decisions.( Laudon, Landon.2014)

With ERP system Without ERP system
The time to prepare order 30 min. 120 min.
Number of daily requests 25 10
detection of reports of stagnant drugs
detection of reports of expiry drugs
save time and effort

Increased efficiency: An ERP system can automate many of the manual processes that are currently being done by hospital staff. This reduces the amount of time and effort required to complete these tasks, freeing up staff to focus on other important tasks.

Improved supply chain management

Enhanced inventory tracking and management, combined with greater visibility into all aspects of your business, enables greatly improved supply chain management. The visibility, in particular, makes determining what supplies you need and when much more efficient and effective. ("14 ERP System Benefits to Consider in the Selection Process").

A well-designed ERP system improves your supply chain so you can:

Improve demand forecasting, inventory management, and procurement

Reduce manufacturing costs and develop exciting new products to give you a competitive edge .
