provide positive feedback to the following student peer post: The importance of production planning and scheduling within an organization is to stay organize with the main tasks and duties from an operations perspective. Scheduling is a great organizational tool used by management to ensure and efficient operations of the organization or special project. This could be time scheduling, financial, and overall production of a product to the delivery. A bad experience I had was with an appointment I had made an appointment at a medical walk in facility prior in advance however the clinic took the walk ins before me. I was able to monitor my check in progress from my phone as well too. However, the customer service and the double booking of the location caused me to be in the facility an additional three hours. Things the organization could have done is to maybe have a cut off time of appointments, as they probably make walk ins priority. The facility could have also had more staff available to check in patients along with providers. I would say the scheduling, time management, and staffing needs to meet the priority and demands of the patients impacts the effectiveness of the
