Providers are responsible for submitting accurate claims. Claims need to follow state and federal laws. Providers must follow guidelines to be reimbursed for the services that they provide. Providers process claims for insurance company payments. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) published FAQs for COVID-19 Claim Reimbursement to Health Care Providers and Facilities for Testing, Treatment, and Vaccine Administration. This program reimburses providers who tested and treated uninsured patients during the pandemic. Please watch the video below
