Providing safe drug areas for serious addicts and if these type of places should be funded is a hard answer to come up with. The areas can help people that need a safe place to deal with their addictions, as well as giving them a safe environment to do so. The spread of diseases and overdoses could be reduced by having such an area for safer drug use. On the other hand, this could back fire and start to promote the use of drugs. The funding would need to come from somewhere and who would be able to come up with the money to support the area? Socially, the areas would help people go to safer areas to do drugs that they were going to take anyways, with or without the safe environment. There could be even programs on hand to help people with their addictions and make sure everyone is safe. The concern for a place such as this would be that it could promote more drug use or show people that it is okay to continue to heavily use drugs. I think the idea of a safe drug area for serious drug addicts sounds like a good ideas, but there is a lot that could come with the area that society wouldn't want.

The drug users may have not wanted to become addicted but taking the pills that are leading to addictions are still a part of a person responsibility. Then the manufacturers and doctors are definitely responsible because they are creating and prescribing these pills for patients knowing how bad and addicting they are becoming for people. All of the three are responsible in some way for an addiction with pills, there cannot be blameon just one of them.
