Public input is generally cyclical in administrative law. Meaning, that we tend to go through periods where we encourage it and want it and then follow that period by encouraging the public to keep their mouths shut and mind their own business. Presently - we're in an era with a general increase in public input in administrative and agency law/hearings/procedures.

So, your question this week - is whether or not the general public should have a say in how one should do their job or their potential job. For example, if you're a police officer or a firefighter (or a professor for that matter!) - should the public have a say in how you are evaluated and how you conduct your job?
