PURPOSE: The purpose of this project is to describe and analyze leadership and transformational practices of a selected leader. The project provides the students an opportunity to link theoretical aspects of the course with real world situations and to learn the experiences of leaders in application of transformation.

PROJECT DISCRIPTION:

Select any leader of your choice or yourself if you are a leader as long as you can gather sufficient information to provide a good analysis of the leader's behavior. The selected leader can be the top person of prominent organization or manager of large division or department in the organization. Remember that secret information about the organization is not required to do the project only general information..

The project should cover the following points:

1. General Background information about the leader (position, experience, idea about the organization/ department he/she is leading)

2. General Approach/Methods that he/she use in leadership.

3. Description of major Changes/Transormations that he/she made in the organization.

4. Description of the Obstacles/Problems that he/she faced in making this transormation.

5. Techniques that he/she used to face problems or overcome these difficulties.

6. The benefits/effects of the change he/she made to the organization

7. Any suggestion/advices on how to make successful change based on his/her experience.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1.It's individual or group based project, if done in group, all the group members are required to participate equally. The maximum number of students in each group should not be more than two students.

Prepare a report (2000 -3000 words length) that covers the above 7 points
