This exercise gives you practice critiquing various organizational charts so that improved organizational designs for those companies can be devised Instructions Step 1 In this chapter, refer back to three organizational charts that are illustrated: Southwest Airlines, Hershey Foods, and Microsoft. For each chart, identify four shortcomings based on the guidelines presented in this chapter. Step 2 For one of those companies of your choosing, develop a new and improved organizational chart.
