Purpose: To describe how to support onboarding and training activities.

Task: You will develop an onboarding program for a role that you are familiar with particularly Housekeeping Room Attendant

Step 1) Think of a job you have had or a job you are familiar with. Make a brief description of the role and include:

• Company description
• Job title and role
• Basic duties
• Work location and schedule
• Tools/training needed to perform the job successfully

Step 2) Make an orientation schedule:

Details:

• Find a calendar template. You will enter the training into the calendar
• Assume the person was hired July 15th and their first day is August 1st.
• Enter the topic of the training as well as a brief comment on the purpose and rationale. Align your training with the information you have learned in this module
