Put a comment about her post I want to share my opinion about to post In discussion board in a blackboard please help For our next paper, Market Segment Analysis, the segment I will be researching is stay-at-home moms. Now depending on if you are a mother or will be one in the near future, we find ourselves buying unnecessary products. We find ourselves buying everything under the sun because we fear we may need it or even our children. For the first year of my son's life, I was a stay-at-home mother, and boy let me tell you I purchased everything I needed, plus my neighbors and even some family members. SAHM oversee taking their children back and forth to school and after school activities. They are also in charge of doctor appointments and taking care of the house, which involves cooking and cleaning. According to the Pew Research Center there is an increase of stay-at-home moms, and stay-at-home dads. In 2010 29% of mothers were staying at home, however there was a 2% decline in 2016. In 2010 stay-at-home father were at 9% however there was also a 2% drop in 2016.There has been some fluctuations within the past few decades regarding a steady decline in stay-at-home mothers however stay-at-home fathers are increasing. Also, most men who decide to stay at home is not voluntarily, its because they are unable to find work. Or even some are trying to change the playing field and let their wives' pursue their dreams (Stay-at-home moms and dads account for about one-in-five U.S. parents, 2018). Most age groups of stay-at-home moms range from 18-40. There is a rise and decline in the number of stay-at-home parents based on age, race and poverty. Most of my findings were not surprising because a few years ago stay-at-home dads was a trend. It was starting to be the new norm because moms were able to go back to work and get back in the swing of things. It was as if the roles of life changed, and women were dominating the workforce in a sense. The article provided statistics on how numbers were affected by education and even single mothers. When it comes to products either parent is purchasing marketing must figure out what is going to grab the consumers attention. If a stay-at-home mom of five walk into Target what is going to make her gravitate toward a product for her children? Would it be vegan fruit snacks, or even some sugar free juice boxes? Price point is also important, a mother of five is always looking for a deal. What product will give her/him the best buy for their dollars? Just a comment about this post its discussion board in a blackbored ,,, i just want put a comment on my classroom Post do not need to explain anything just a simple comment
