Q 1.Mr. Ahmed awarded the work of construction of a bridge to Mr. Wali at a(05) "Construction Base" area situated at Bin Qasim, Karachi on the terms and conditions inthe formal agreement and contract document dated 30-3-2019, the completion time givenin the agreement was 3 months. Subsequently, extra / additional work was awarded by Mr. Ahmed to Mr. Wali and the initial period of completion of work i.e. 3 months was extended to 5 months. After considerable delay Mr. Wali failed to complete the work within the extended time. Mr. Wali submitted his final bill with exaggerated amount due to which a dispute arose between the parties. Thereafter, Mr. Wali filed a suit for the recovery of amount against Mr. Ahmed.
