Q- Paul had to leave his apartment because the landlord gave him a Notice to Terminate for Personal Use. The Landlord said his daughter was going to move in. Paul defended against the application by claiming it was in bad faith, but he was unable to get the application dismissed.

Six months after having to move Paul learned that the apartment was not occupied by the daughter, or the landlord himself. Instead it was rented out to a new tenant at a higher rent that Paul was paying.
