Visit the Languages of Spain site. How many people live in Spain? How many native Spanish speakers are in Spain? How many languages altogether are spoken in Spain? If you decided to learn Spanish in Spain, what part of Spain would you stay in? 2c. Switzerland is one of the smallest European countries. What are the major languages of Switzerland, and how many speakers does each have? 2d. Find the table Linguistic Diversity of Countries, which shows the population for each language as a proportion of the total population for most countries. What are the most linguistically diversified countries in the world? What are the least diversified countries?
