departments. The Marketing Manager told that if firm wants achieve higher sales, more sales managers

and sales professionals are required. Minimum engineering support to sales and marketing efforts was

the main point of his concern. The company had adequate engineers but they were spread under three

separate engineering groups. No central organization in sales department. Therefore, some jobs were

being done from outside at higher costs or with lower quality. Besides, he needed a generous budget for

a demonstration system which could be sent on a trial basis to customers to win business.

.Cost is higher and production is not f best quality .While competitors had better equipment and

machinery, Best Builders neither replaced its age-old plant nor got it reconditioned.

Director R&D indicated that the of R&D did not emphasize on short-term research projects which could

easily increase production efficiency 30% without using much of the firms Budget
