Jan 11: Inventory purchased, 95 units @ $7 per unit. Jan 23: Inventory purchased, 104 units @ $9 per unit. Plum Corporation sold 129 units during the month of Jan 2022. Required: a. Calculate the cost of goods sold and ending inventory for Jan 2022 using both the Weighted Average cost and First in, first out (FIFO) method. (14 marks) b. Record the journal entries for the Jan 11 purchase of inventory. Also record the journal entries when 61 units from this lot were sold for $15 each. Assume both purchase of inventory and its sale are on account. (6 marks)
