3.1 Week Three Discussion (Step 1) 3.1 Week Three Discussion (Step 1) This discussion is based on Chapters 1, 2. 3, and 4 from Why Popcorn Costs So Much at the Movies. The instructor will assign each student one of these specific chapters. Students are then required to read only the chapter which they are assigned (students are welcome to read other chapters, but this is not required. IMPORTANT: For students whose assigned chapter is not in a particular week, their entire discussion grade for that week is based on their follow up posts. STEP 1 INSTRUCTIONS After reading the assigned chapter prepare a two (2) to three (3) page (double-spaced) summary of the chapter using the following guidelines: 1. A description of the 'why?' question in the chapter and a succinct answer to the question. This requires that students do very careful reading of their assigned chapter and be sure to distill the content to its essentials while still providing enough information for a new reader to understand the points. Students should write all post material strictly in their own words; no quoted material from the chapters should be used
