(a) Evaluate the following statement: In a Distributed System, high-level communication is preferred. Include in your discussion whether you agree or disagree and why, as well as what would happen if the opposite were to be true.

(b) In order to maximise performance, which protocol would you choose: Asynchronous RPC or Synchronous RPC? Justify your answer using at least two valid reasons.

(c) With the aid of a diagram, briefly explain the operation of Asynchronous Remote Procedure Calls.

(d) You are asked to measure the performance of two different Distributed Systems in terms of the Quality of Service (QoS) offered by both. Explain what is meant by Quality of Service, and discuss four different ways you would undertake the comparison.
