Question 1 Designing the relational tables for Sales Processes In this exercise, you will learn to design relational tables for Sales Processes that are needed for a company. This tables will store data related to sales, customers, product items, employees, etc. You are to think about data collected and used by David Jones, a retail company. David Jones also collects data via their loyalty cards other than from sales, cash collection, employees, stores location and sales returns.

Required:

1. Identify 4 tables that would contain data about customer, sales, returns or product items or employees or subscription data for loyalty card. For each table that you identified, list 5 attributes (fields or columns) that you could create. And also, for each table, identify which of the attributes (fields) is primary key or foreign key.

2. Describe requirements of each attribute (field) - using elements from a data dictionary (for eg, description about this field, whether the field should be numeric or alphabets or alpha numeric and what special characters are allowed, length of the field for example the maximum number of characters in the field, etc).

3. Why would David Jones, a retail company be interested in storing and tracking these attributes (fields)?
