Eat Healthy Burgers, a nationwide fast food restaurant, wants to determine the effectiveness of a franchise-based health promotion program that they recently developed. The employee's average body mass index (BMI) was measured at sixteen (16) different locations that received the program, while a different sixteen (16) franchise locations were used as a control group and did not receive the program. The data that summarizes the BMI values for each group is found in the Assignment #4 Excel file.
Test the hypothesis at the .05 level that there was no difference in the BMI results between the treatment group and the control group. Population standard deviations are unknown but assumed to be equal.
