The Air Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) has recently released their findings on the accident and has concluded that the engine failure resulted from faulty engine parts being used to rebuild the engine. The ATSB has concluded that the manufacturer, We Have Every Part Pty Ltd took appropriate action to notify third parties of the recall of these faulty parts when the issue was discovered (2 years prior to the engine overhaul). Bruce has been notified that Charles from Xavier's Maintenance Group failed to take suitable steps to exchange his batch of parts when he was notified by numerous recall letters from We Have Every Part Pty Ltd?Bruce seeks your advice as to what action/s he can take and what he will need to show to be successful in his claim.

Question 2: (Maxine is a charter pilot for Lightning Charters and flies one of the many Beechcraft King Air 200 aircraft they own. On the 11th October, 2023 Maxine receives a letter from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) stating that a decision has been made to cancel her Commercial Pilot Licence due to an undisclosed incident.

Maxine is unaware of when the incident occurred or what it was she did wrong. She seeks legal assistance as to what rights she has against CASA's decision.

Jasmine receives a show cause notice from CASA under the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations 1998 (CASR) - Reg 21.002D. The notice states that Jasmine has breached CASR 91.265 for flying an airplane over a populous area below 1,000 ft.

This is the first time Jasmine has received this notice and during her initial research she discovers that she could have her licence suspended.
