Tina is a company secretary for Ohara Sdn. Bhd. In January 2019, Melisa works at the company as an administrative clerk. Tina and Melisa can get along together. In Jun 2019, Melisa's contract has ended but the company wants to offer her a new position as their company secretary. Tina will be appointed as Chief of Human Resources Department.

Tina is very happy because she feels comfortable to work with Melisa and believe Melisa can do better than her. However, it was found out that Melisa had been declared bankrupt in June 2017.

Advice Ohara Sdn. Bhd, whether Melisa is qualified to be appointed as the company secretary according to Companies Act 2016?
