The cost of a pair of jeans is 15$ for supplier A and $18 for supplier B. However, the jeans of supplier A has a higher defect rate. The defect rates are 4% for supplier A and 1% for supplier B. Shamma wants to limit the average defect rate to 2%. Moreover, Shamma wants to work with both of the suppliers and wants to buy at least 15% of its overall demand from each supplier. Formulate a linear programming model to help Shamma in determining the quantities to buy from each supplier to minimize their cost.
