Question 2 (70 marks)

Chris was an attendant in a car park which rented out parking spaces on a monthly basis. Robert drove his van into the car park but he had no parking permit. Chris told Robert to leave but he refused. They had a heated argument, after which Robert attempted to park his van despite Chris' objection. Robert, neglecting that Chris was standing at the back of his van, reversed the van suddenly and hit Chris. Chris fell onto the ground and suffered a fracture of the right thigh bone. He had to stop working for a few months and endured a very painful surgery.
