Question #2 (9 marks) In the system presented in Question 1 1. Determine the minor energy loss that will occur in the system, organize your work using the table provided. 2. Calculate the power delivered by the pump to the water considering minor and friction energy losses you have calculated. Determine the friction energy loss in the discharge pipe (after the pump) that will occur as 600 gal/min of water at 60 F flows from the reservoir into the pipe to an elevated tank at a pressure 40 psig. Consider only the vertical length of the pipe 100 ft. (To calculate the friction factor, use the equation) 100 ft 10 ft P=40 psig Standard elbow Flow 31/2-in Schedule 40 steel pipe 31/2-in Schedule 40 steel pipe Fully open gate valve Pump Swing-type check valve Butterfly valve Question #2 (9 marks) In the system presented in Question 1 1.
