Question 2 Cuppa is a sole proprietorship owns by Alee which is located at Lot 4, De Centrum Mall, Jalan Ikram-Uniten, Kajang, Selangor. The business activity is selling and trading variety of drinks and beverages. The business opens from 8.00am to 5.00 pm every day except on Friday and public holiday. Alee started his business on 1 March 2022 with his own money and assets. To assist him, Alee hired two shop assistants; Ruby and Zahid. Both of them will be paid RM1,500 per month each. The following transactions were incurred in the first month of Cuppas business operation: March 1: Alee contributed to his business RM300,000 cash in hand, freezer worth RM5,000 and equipment valued at RM6,150. March 2: Opened a bank account and transfer RM295,000 cash into bank account. March 3: Business purchased a fridge cooler RM10,000 on credit from Seng Trading. March 4: Bought 50 dozens of can drinks on credit from Busbear RM2,000. March 4: Installed new shelves at the shop to display the products costing RM3,400 March 5: Purchased various flavors of beverages from Nestle for RM5,500 and payment was made by cheque. March 5: Paid RM300 for the shop banner and RM500 to a social influencer to promoted the business through the social media. March 6: Collected cash amounted to RM1,300 for the sales. March 6: Paid RM1,400 to Busbear by cheque for goods purchased on March 4. March 7: Sold RM4,000 worth of drinks for a wedding event. No payment is yet made by the buyer. March 8: Made a credit purchase costing RM3,200 for the beverages from Dmart. March 9: A customer, Hussin ordered varieties of the drinks and beverages from the business valued at RM2,200. He promised to make the payment at the end of the month. March 12: Issued an invoice RM1,080 for goods sold to Elive. March 16: Received commission from Nestle of RM 200 by cash. March 20: Alee took 100 cups of tea ice amounting RM200 for his sons birthday. March 25: Paid water and electricity bill RM750 by cash. March 28: Paid telephone bill of RM200 and shop rent of RM2,000 by cheque. March 28: Received an order valued of RM5,100 to supply drinks at Selangor Carnivals. A parttimer was hired to assist and being paid for RM150 cash at the end of the event. March 29: Paid salary to Ruby and Zahid RM3,000 by cheque. March 29: Received cheque from Hussin on the amount owed at March 9. March 30: Alee took RM500 cash for personal use.
