The Indiana law that established the currency also provides that out of state tourists who use Indiana money in Indiana will not have to pay a sales tax on purchases in Indiana. The Indiana law: is constitutional because Indiana is lawfully permitted to have its own currency is unconstitutional pursuant to the terms and interpretation of the federal constitution is unconstitutional unless the same tax reductions are provided to Indiana residents as well as out of state tourists is constitutional so long as the federal government does not start printing federal currency in $3 and $4 denominations
