The students can buy any number of tickets for 50 dollars a ticket. The Parks and Recs department believes that different cohorts in the school will buy different amounts of tickets in the raffle. Rohn Swantson wants to burst Leslie bubble and show that both groups will buy the same amount of raffle tickets. He goes out and samples students in their third and fourth years of college. They found that the average number of sales to third years is 800 dollars and the average number of sales to fourth years is 1000 dollars. The standard deviation of the third years purchases is 70 dollars and fourth years is 100 dollars.
